IACU was established by Iranian-American residents of Utah as well as
various interested community members to allow Iranian-Americans an
opportunity to show their true nature and collectively alter the perception
of what it means to be an Iranian. We will do this by creating a community
in which we can learn, teach, display and celebrate the values and traditions
of our heritage. We will embrace all of the positive attributes that are
embedded within each of us and promote our legacy by giving our time and
resources to those in need. We will be actively involved in social programs
and causes that will display the true nature of our heritage and community.
We will create opportunity for all who are interested to learn about our
country of origin and the wonderful culture that belongs to it. And we will
create an open community that will honor our ancestors, preserve our heritage
and promote a positive legacy for all Iranian-Americans.
